we have QC 10 installed with no patches. what is the latest patch and where can they be downloadable.

For QC v10.0, I think patch 7 is released.

You can get this by contacting HP support team. Some patches are not readily accessible to all customers.

Based on your request, they would send you the download link.

Google is not the solution for all the issues ;)

You need to search in

http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/patches

QC patches are cumulative....it means it includes all fixes of previous patches.

You can get this patch from HP support team.

Same here. I only saw patch 4 on there which I am already running. How would be able to obtain patch 7?

create a support case and ask for latest patch.
You will get it!
That is the fastest way.

Patch 19 introduced a few new bugs including a problem linking back to test instances from defects. This has now been fixed (patch 24) but the next formal public release is supposed to be patch 25, which was due for release on 15/06/2011. Not sure if this has happened yet as we are waiting confirmation.

On a side note (and for Saas users) the Tools (Site admin mini) functionality is due to have an update in July 2011.

Hi, i am running a trial version of QC 10. Need to showcase the features to my management so that they can get persuaded to go for QC 11 (ALM).

Since i dont have a support ID (SAID), i cannot request for the latest patch officially.

Can anyone email me the latest patch available ?
