Visibility of what makes up costs in a Financial Summary

How can we get visibility of what makes up costs in a Financial Summary.

In a Financial Summary \ Cost Details we can see Labour - Employee and contractor totals

Can we setup PPM to break the contractor costs out by the contractor resource (source of the cost)?

Re: Visibility of what makes up costs in a Financial Summary

For this you need to create the COST CATEGORY i.e add the Labor category in Validation "CST - Budget Labor Category"; example Contractor, Contractor-Offshore, Employee.... etc.

Once done you can go to Resource Profile and set the Cost Category for the resources, based on this Cost Category PPM rollup services will create the Financial Summary Budget lines and will trach the Forecast and Actuals.

This way you can segrigate the contractor cost and it will be tracked in seperate budget line.

Cheers..
