Re: How we restrict menu item using security group in PPM 9.14

Hi NSrikanth,

if you are referring to the top menus when opening PPM, this is not possible. Items as 'Dashboard', 'Open', 'Create', 'Search' etc are there per default and cannot be removed. The subitems are however a combination of assigned application license(s) of the user and access grants given by the security group that the user is assigned to.

Since you have given no further information, I suggest you create a security group without access grants and assign a user, then you'll see what submenus are available. Test wish slowly assigning the needed access grants for such a user and check the changes on Dashboard.

The manuals for each module let you know which access grants are given for which permissions to work in PPM and submenus are delivered accordingly.

Best regards,

Dirk
