I've recently upgraded my ML350 server to Windows SBS 2003. After the install, the Fan is very loud. We had this problem once before and, as I recall (it was about 1+ year(s) ago), it was fixed by updating the BIOS. The BIOS version should be from 5/30/03.
Are there any utilities that I can install to get the fan to quiet down again? I'm having a few (important) users complaining about it and I need to resolve ASAP.
I have other ML series servers (350 G2-G4) that I would like to apply the same fix to.
Help Please?!

Have you installed the latest Proliant Support PAck 7.30 for windows 2003?

You can also throttle the fan speed though the RBSU F9.
Sincerly.
