Hi, Hope this works, I have a HP DesignJet 220 running Windows 8, 64 bit, I install a USB serial card and will assign this to this printer and will connect with a USB cable and a serial to parallel adapter. Any thoughts.
Wow! Got my HP 2800CP working on a Windows 7 64 bit machine with this driver! I used a parallel to USB adapter to make the leap to my Dell XPS 9100 machine with no parallel ports. Tip: Had to use a USB 3 connection because it was powered. Regular USB 2.0 didn't work, but if you had a powered usb 2.0 it might work for you. The driver install is a little tricky.
I don't use the Firey Rip pod anymore. I bypass it and print directly to the printer. Finding ink is a problem because HP discontinued it. Looking for substitutes/workarounds for a pigment solution for the four inks, CMYK. Cheers!
Used OK to connect DesignJet 450C to Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit
I must be doing something wrong. I've Removed/reinstalled the hp designjet 450c printer numerous times on my Windows 7 64 bit computer using this driver. The printer works for a short period then quits. The printer queue only shows "error". I then start he process over; it'll work then quit. What am I missing???
Driver doesn't work for me...HP DesignJet 450C (D/A1) connected to a Windows 7 x64 using a USB 1284 DB25 Parallel Printer Adapter cable.
