I know it's not hardware related.
Does not anyone have any suggestions, or have this happen to anyone.

However, application or specific files might also cause this problem.
I suggest you check the spooler to see what was printed when you got that error, as it might be related to either a specific file or an application.

we had this exact same thing happen here at work. the key is you upgraded from nt 4 print queues to win 2k print queues. we used the migrat.bat found on technet. my suggestion is this, rebuild your print queues from scratch. the 79 error on one of the machines (79 (E040) was related to our formatter board which was replaced. The error that you are eluding to is most likely from your print server migration.

I have a windows workgroup LAN with 98 an XP clients. No print queue or print server other than the HP Jetdirect in my HPLJ 8000DN. All of a sudden we're getting 79.4165 errors. I have replaced the jetdirect card, and have done everything that I know to do. I finally called HP and paid my $25 and they are telling me the toner cartridge which is a third party, "Rhinotek" is causing the problem. (I have someone getting me an HP toner cartridge as I type). I'm hoping this will take care of it. Anyone else have a similar problem...or fix?!
