Our laserjet 4100tn printer has started making grinding noises when we print, has anyone had this issue and does anyone know how to resolve it?

Re: Laserjet 4100tn - Grinding Noise when printing

The most likely noise source in this printer is from worn out Separation adn Pick Up rollers from Tray 2/3. You could pull out the tray. Look and feel the rollers. If they are shining and smooth, they need to be replaced. HP OEM parts resellers liek Laser Pros:

888-558-5277, ext 122
Partsnow
printerworks

etc, all have the parts on hands for cheap. I also strongly suggested that you get tye Tray 1 Separation pad and PU Roller while you order the rollers for Tray2/3 since you will be paying for the same amount for S&H.
