LaserJet 4000 won't stop printing (191 Views)

We have just installed 8 HP printers onto our network. They are all installed on one Windows 2003 server, and shared in Active Directory to the rest of the domain. 2 of these printers have experienced the same problem. When printing a job, the printers won't stop printing. It doesn't matter if the job is 1, 2 or many pages, they just keep printing the job over and over again. Only the cancel job button finally stops the job. These printers are Laserjet 4000TN and Color Laserjet 4600n, and use the Windows default drivers. (PCL6 and PCL5e respectively). Have tried uninstalling and re-installing to no avail.

in the menu of the printer under printing you can set the number of copies to be printed usually this is set to 1 in some cases it might be set very high by accident try to see if this is set to 1 copy as it supposed to be
