LaserJet 4000 prints only prints one copy from vista

Office just updated their computer to Vista, issue is that when they try to print more then one copy of an item from that computer to the printer(connected via parallel port) it only prints one copy. I've tried reinstalling the printer, using the default vista drivers, and downloading and reinstalling the driver. This one has me stumped. Any help would be great.

Thank you

Re: LaserJet 4000 prints only prints one copy from vista

Don't use the driver provided with Vista.

Download and use the current PCL 5e driver for the LaserJet 4050 (it's fully compatible). DON'T use the "Universal Driver" in this instance.

Driver:

Once you've installed it, that should clear up the problem. HP wants everyone to use the "Univeral Driver" and the driver provided in Vista is a "trimmed down" version of the "Univeral Driver", however the "Universal Driver" is not without it's "flaws" ... at least for the time being.

Paul,
Thanks, worked like a dream. Got it fixed today (Tuesday) just to find out they're replacing it Thursday. Oh well, great help. Thank you very much for the help.
