LaserJet 4000: Buffer Overflow

My LaserJet 4000 starting to give this message everytime I am trying to print:
"22 Parallel I/O
Buffer Overflow"

I have removed/ re-installed the printer software and don't know what else to do.

Greatly appreciate any help.

Re: LaserJet 4000: Buffer Overflow

Hi,

Indicates the parallel buffer has overflowed. This might happen if several complex jobs are sent simultaneously via the parallel port and are larger than the overflow will allow.

Action

No action is required. The current data in the print buffer will be lost.

I/O Buffering Feature:

Re: LaserJet 4000: Buffer Overflow

Thanks for your reply.

It has solved my problem after my reading the article and applying setting the printer accordingly.

It is more important to mention that you have point to me where the self-help resources is so I would go there as the first step for general & basic understanding of the printers' problems.
