Laser 4100 duplex attachment does not work in Windows 7

I have an HP Laserjet 4100 with the C8054A duplexer.  The duplex attachment worked fine until I moved my computers to Windows 7.  Now it doesn't work at all.  The printer seems to know the duplexer is there, because in the paper handling menu I can turn duplex on and off (although it doesn't affect the printing).  When printing a document in Word 2007, the only two-sided option I have is to manually turn the pages over.  I am using the HP Universal PCL6 driver, dated 10 may 2010.  Any suggestions?  Thanks, Jim.

Jim,

If you haven't done so already, you need to tell the driver that the duplex unit is installed in the device settings tab of the printer properties - see attached jpg.
