HP laserjet 2300 - 13.00.01 (jam in tray 2)

I'm getting a 13.00.01 paper jam error although the paper path is clear - The tray 2 paper pickup is not working (turning)- The entire drive assembly is not functioning.
I'm thinking of replacing the dc(drive)motor -any ideas or sugestions?

Hi,

You hear a noise like the pick-up roller is moving?
Usually those king of paper jams is caused by bad separation pad and/or pick-up roller.
I never changed a motor in a HP LJ 2xxx what so ever, but.... there's allways a firs time...
I suggest to look at the rubber on the separation pad to see if it's used.

The printer was sent to me from one of our branches not working - the first thing I did was install a full maintenance kit. After reading your message I rechecked the separation pad and found that the spring is missing from under the separation pad mounting assy.
Oops! I feel really stupid â
By chance would you know the part number for this item?

Vin, the spring is comming with the separation pad! And it should be in the maintenance kit.
RM1-0345 but in the photo this code does not include the spring!
RS6-2021-000CN - I'm not 100% sure it's the right code. (just 90% sure)
