HP Laserjet P2035n Printer Driver for Windows Server 2008 R2 (64 bit) Print Server

We are setting up a 64 bit print server (Windows Server 2008 R2), and cannot seem to serve up any of our Laserjet P2035n printers.  We cannot find a W2K8R2 driver, have tried other 64 bit drivers, Universal, etc.  In all cases, jobs just stick in queue and never go to printer.

Any suggestions on what to use for a driver and where to get it?

There is not a Windows Server 2008 R2 driver at the link menrtioned that works properly.  Is there any substitute drive that will work.  I can get it to print using the Win7 64, but after printing one successful test page, the next print will not stop unless I cancel the print job.

I am having the same issues with all my laserjets...they install but I cann't properly configure any of the device settings/trays/printer defaults.

This is really, really, awful

applies to Lasejet DTN 2200, Lasjerjet 1200, Laserjet 2100.

I am having the same issue.  Need a driver for Windows server 2008 R2 64-bit for my print queue.  Any chance of a driver coming out for this?

All,

I found that using the built in driver of the "HP LaserJet 4050 Series PCL" that comes with Windows work not only in Windows 7 x64 but also Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 and through Windows Server 2008 R2 Remote Desktop Services. 

I have tested this without issue through the following programs:

Entire MS Office 2010 Suite

TRAMS Back Office

All current web browsers

To clarify - It NEEDS to be the OEM driver that came with Microsoft Windows XP, none of the ones from HP website will work properly.  I can provide the driver to anyone who needs it.

I just spoke with HP today and they informed that there are no Drivers for HP Laser P2035n Printer on Windows Server 2008 R2 (64 bit)

Ive also had issues getting this printer to work nicely on our 2008 print server and have found a solution.

I had to update the firmware on the printer to resolve the network connectivity issues.

Next was on the print server I downloaded the HP Universal Print Driver PCL5 v5.4  and added these drivers to the repository, from there added these drivers to the new printer object in Print Manager and its working well on both W7 32 and 64bit clients.

HP have definately dropped the ball when it comes to driver support for their products and I think Ill be swapping brands next time.

BlueSteel76's solution worked for me also. I am using the HP Universal Print Driver PCL5 v5.4 with our P2035n printers. It works fine on our 64-bit Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 x64 clients; I also installed the 32-bit version which works with our remaining XP clients. Thanks for the tip.

I am running windows Server 2008 R2.  I finally got our HP LaserJet 2035N Printer to work by using the driver for HP LaserJet 3050 PCL5 that comes with Windows.
