HP Color Laserjet CP1518ni WOn't install

I am having problems installing my HP CL CP1518ni. It goes through all the installation procedures and the software is downloaded to my computer but the following error keeps popping up:

Cannot install this hardware
There was a problem installing this hardware
HP Color Laserjet CP1510 Series PCL-6
An error occurred during the installation of the device: The printer name is invalid
Click Finish to close the wizard

You did not specify if your printer is connected to the network OR if your printer is connected via USB cable. I will presume absed on your error description it's a network install.

For your problem try assigning a static IP to the printer and installing the printer by specifying the IP. This should fix your problem. Also, change the Printer name so that it does NOT include special characters OR spaces.

The printer that I was trying to install was a direct connection via a usb cable to my personal laptop computer ... Any additional help?
