HP 2600n Toolbox

I just bought a 2600n. After install, I tried to open the Toolbox on the desktop. It appears to have to be networked for the Toolbox to work as it said page can't be displayed. I am using a USB connection, not networked. Can I access the Toolbox?

Re: HP 2600n Toolbox

If you connect this printer via a network connection (mine is a small home network via a gateway/router), you can get this functionality in Vista x86 or Vista x64 simply by opening your web browser and typing in the IP address of the printer (such as, for example, http://192,168.0.129). I had almost given up on the possibility when no toolbox was available for Vista. Worked great for me, and a whole lot faster than it ever did in XP with the software toolbox. Cheers.

Re: HP 2600n Toolbox

I have Windows 7 (64 bits).

I also have a Laser Printer 2600n.

My toolbox does not work any more,

Can I get a new version?
