I got a Service call about an HP LJ 4250 with the "57.04" Error. I went onsite and took the side panel off to access the main cooling motor. You would not believe what I found. There was a very big Roach got stuck on the fan blade got killed causing the motor not turning resulting in the "57.04" Error. I just took my screw driver and scooped it out. Popped everything back together and the printer came straight up. After I showed the Roach to t eh guy, he told me that it was at the back causing paper jam at first. When he went and cleared the paper jam, teh Roach went inside teh printer.
This is a fun service call. The critter helped me out finacially.

I assume that you tried to resuscitate the poor little critter before you "attacked" it with your screwdriver

It's a sign. You should carry a few of them with you in your took kit.
But actually, I was wondering if it was #1 or #2 (you can tell you're getting old if you have to go 23 pages in to an image search for #2).
