ERROR: undefined OFFENDING COMMAND: csq STACK

The above "Subject" is all I get printed from my Laserjet 4 used with Mac computer when I try to print Anything.

Anyone know what this means? Without an Error Code I don't know where to start.

Thanks,

Bill

Do not know if this will help, but found a thread with the exact issue with a lexmark.

Re: ERROR: undefined OFFENDING COMMAND: csq STACK

Your link was EXACTLY what was needed. Changed my driver from generic to actual and work great again. Guess the latest Leopard update doesn't allow generic drivers.

Sorry I could Only give you 10 points for your help.

Thank You Lots,

Bill

Re: ERROR: undefined OFFENDING COMMAND: csq STACK

Just upgraded to OSX 10.5.6, now HP Laserjet 1320 always prints a sheet after any print job that says:
ERROR: Undefined, Offending Command: D, STACK:
At first the driver that comes up is Generic, but I installed Series 1320 and added it under the Print and Fax Driver. Any ideas? Linda

Re: ERROR: undefined OFFENDING COMMAND: csq STACK

Linda,

That's what I did, installed the driver that matched the printer and it works great. Are you sure you Deleted the generic one?
