Hi all. Thanks for reading. I have a user whose XP computer prints only black (i.e., no colors) on a networked Color LJ CP1518ni. This is on our office Ethernet network. It kinda has me stumped. I have:
reinstalled universal PCL6 driver from HP website
installed PS driver from HP website
installed latest firmware from HP website
re-seated toner carts (none of them is less than 25% full)
tried printing in Safe Mode
tried printing from a Windows7 computer
set printer back to factory defaults, and
annoyed, tormented, pestered, plagued, molested, worried, badgered, harried, harassed,
heckled, persecuted, irked, bullyragged, vexed, disquieted, grated on, beset, bothered, teased,
nettled, tantalized and ruffled the printer. Quite firmly.
The Demo Page I print from the printer's menu comes out in full color. Test Page I send from the computers is monochrome.
There isn't anything in a Google or Bing search that I haven't already tried.
Boy I hate saying I'm stumped, but I'm sss, ssst, ssstum ... well, you know. Any ideas, folks? Thanks very much.
