CP3525dn and grinding noise

When printing a large job, the printer started to make a grinding noise, then went into cleaning mode, after which the job was completed.  It has also started grinding when it is running low on paper.  Any suggestions?

Re: CP3525dn and grinding noise

I am sorry to hear you are having problems with your CP3525. Grinding during printing is definitely not normal. If you have the means to record an audio clip of the sound (and mention on the recording what the printer is doing at the time of the event) and can attach it to a post, I may be able to identify it. Is there only one grinding sound you are hearing? From what tray are you printing when the noise occurs? How often does it occur?

Unfortunately, in the end I suspect you will need to call HP for service, but perhaps if I can get a bit more information perhaps we can figure something out.

Hope to hear back from you.
