Add a JetDirect card to HP 4050 ?

Hi folks,

Just wondering if anyone can confirm if it is possible to add a JetDirect card to an HP 4050 standard model (not the N model)? The cards are quite cheap second hand so was considering upgrading it so it can be used across the network.

Just wanted to check before I buy a card for it and find it cannot be fitted.

No problem as you just need to remove one of the covers over the eio slot on the formatter in the right rear and slide the card in and tighten.  I would get the jetdirct 610N or 620N but forget about the 615N which had many issues and the 600N series which is very stable but has issues with the web interface.  Make sure the card is ethernet and not token ring.
