Re: 4250 permanent storage memory full

Marc,

I'm attaching two pdfs from the LJ4250 User Guide.

The first pdf shows the Control Panel layout for the US - Note that in the UK "Cancel Job" is labelled "STOP" and "Pause/Resume" is labelled "Menu".

The second pdf describes what to do - using the US layout.

I think you have to power on with the "Pause/Resume" held (rather than "Cancel Job").

Let me know how you get on.

Regards

Ken

Re: 4250 permanent storage memory full

Marc,

I've just noticed that your error is a 68.2. The service manual it talks about 68.0 as on board NVRAM and 68.1 as flash DIMM or hard drive - so I'm not sure which device 68.2 is refering to.

Related postings include :-

and possibly

http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/bizsupport/questionanswer.do?threadId=1049773&prodTypeId=...

although this is for a different model printer and neither postings indicated successful resolution.

You can download the service manual from :-

http://www.feedroller.com/Store/hp_manuals.php

page 363 details the 68.X error and might give you some ideas.

Ken
