Is it the maintenance counter??. Is there a way to reset it. Or do i have to change the heating roller??

Disconnect the product from the power source and plug it directly into a wall outlet.
If the problem persists then there is an error with the print engine. Service is required.

This problem can also relate to the Automatic Document Feeder, this is where you put the documents for faxing or scanning. If you pull the front of the machine where the numerical key pad towards you it will hinge and you can see a roller - if this roller doesn't have free movement (or if paper is jammed) then you get the engine error. It is not related to the fuser at all. Give this front area a good spring cleaning and if the error persists then the unit will need serviced.

None of your answers help. I changed the heating roller and I havent had any trouble since then.
