13.01.00 Jam in Tray 2 LaserJet 4200N

Does not appear to be any paper jam present. Did cold reset to see whether that might resolve...no luck. It appears as though the paper is catching at the feed rollers. None of the gears appears defective. We only utilize tray 2 with executive size paper...tray is set correctly...

Re: 13.01.00 Jam in Tray 2 LaserJet 4200N

Doug,

Inspect the feed rollers for wear and replace if necessary. See attachment

Also pull the torque limiter out and try a paper path test. If it does not jam then the torque limiter is at fault (RC1-0335-000cn).

Hi Doug,
I have attached a document with the troubleshooting steps for such an issue. This was designed for mostly 4300 units that booted up with this error on purchase, but can be very usefull in locating the parts or the cause for the repeating jams.
