If the DJ750C worked on the old computer with Windows XP, it will work on the new computer with Windows XP.
As you have requested some help, I assume you have now installed Windows XP Pro x64 on the new computer and not just Windows XP.
There is no 64bit support for the DJ750C printer on the HP site, but there is 64 bit support for the DJ 750c built into Windows XP Pro x64.
Just use the add printer wizard in the Printers and faxes panel. There are five DJ 750 drivers available. You will probably need your Windows XP Pro x64 DVD to install your printer.

The previous post also applies to Windows XP Pro 32 bit. There are five DJ750 drivers as part of the Windows Add printer wizard.
HP do have this driver on their site for HP Designjet HP-GL/2 printer driver for Windows and AutoCAD 2000 - AutoCAD 2005

OK. Let's make some assumptions.
You do not want to use the drivers that come with Windows XP.
You HAVE downloaded this file
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/S oftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=12662&pr ...
to your desktop. The file is named pl532en.exe
You are the owner/ administrator of the computer.
1 Right mouse click on the Start button and select Explore. NOT Explore all users
2 Select Desktop
3 Select the menu item File, New, Folder
Name the folder Temp
4 Left click on the file pl532en.exe and drag it onto the Temp folder name.
5 Click (Select) the folder Temp
6 Double click the file pl532en.exe and select Run
7 In the UnZip to folfer box, replace all of the text with .\ (Period back slash)
8 Click Unzip. Then Close. There should be 16 new files in Temp
9 Click Start, Printers and Faxes and double click the Add Printer icon. Click Next
10 I have to assume it is a local printer connected to LPT1. Change the port to the port you are using. Click Next and Next
11 In the Install printer software panel, select the Have disk button.
12 In the Install from disk panel, select the Browse button
13 The browse window will probably come up to My documents. Click the Black Triangle at the right side of the Look in box and select Desktop.
14 Double click on the Temp folder and select OEMsetup.inf and select the Open button. Then OK
15 Select your printer from the list.
The rest is up to you. I cannot describe it in any more detail.

Loading a print driver is much less complicated than building a new tower and loading windows.
Just sayin'.....

MY COMPUTER FRIEND FR0M KAISER HOSPITAL BUILT THE NEW COMPUTER TOWER. I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT OR HOW TO DO IT. THE DESIGNJET 750C PLUS IS JUST FOR MY STEAM LOCOMOTIVE HOBBY.
