HP Designjet 500 - printing a (24" by 8 foot) Banner

I cant seem to print a large banner using Word, Publisher or even Print shop. They consider the banner to be 3 or more pages... Ive created customer sizes in both page setup and in the printer driver, but it prints out kinda like a page at a time....please give ideas as to what I can try... do I need more memory, a different driver??? anything will help.....thanx in advance

You need a graphics program such as Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator. Microsoft has terrible printing capabilities and size limits.
