DesignJet 800 Memory Upgrade

I have the 42" DJ800 and want to upgrade the memory. How do I know what parts I need?
(What is the HPGL2 Formatter Card and where is it?)

I have the part 128 Memory Module. I cant find the install guide, it was not in the box.

Re: DesignJet 800 Memory Upgrade

There are 2 slots behind the back cover (near the power cable). One has the JetDirect card, the other has the hard drive projecting. Remove the hdd and you will see a memory slot on one side of the pcb with a 144pin dimm installed. Make sure you are grounded and remove this module and replace with new one. Reinstall and you should be up to 160MB in the 'printer info' list.
PS. The pcb with the memory slot is the hpgl/2 formatter card.
