Banner Printing with HP DesignJet 500PS

How do I print banners using the HP DesignJet 500PS (24" roll). I have yet to be successful.

What application are you printing from? Is it an Adobe application?. If so you need to lower the PRINTERS resolution. Do this by :

If using Driver 5.35 - on the drivers advanced Tab - click on Troubleshooting then select 16 bit application support.

If using Any older driver then Select Scale to Fit - then select Apply this Scaling Factor - 100%

This will cause the printer to lower its resolution alowing the longer prints.

Thanks - I actually did a scale to fit, but found where to edit a page size to custom...and walah!

OK - perfect!

If you want to keep this custom size then make sure you go into the printers window > right click on the printer icon > select Printing Preferances and add the custome size there. If you only create the custome size in the appication when you send the print then is will only exist for that ONE time.
