I'll send you 2 pictures to see the step in replacing the belt.
From steps 1-6 just follow the screws in removing the parts.
If you need an extra "photo" just let me know, but I think it's easy. Take it slow and you will make it.
Good luck fell free to ask more!

I'll be sure to assign some points when I finish replacing the belt. I Hope the pictures posted above will work for me but just in case I'll take your instructions with me too. :-) Thank you!

It is possible that where the short is back enough that is could have fried the carriage. Test on poiwer upwithout pens.

I"m replacing the drive belt on a 755CM also. I looked at the pictures in the post, but they aren't helping.
Since my belt broke before I got inside the 755, I'm not sure how it gets back on track. I have it attached to the carrige, and wrapped around the kogs on the motor, but where does the other end of the belt loop??? I have an end piece with some kind of fork on a spring inside the end bracket, but there is no axle. Have I lost a piece??
Thanks for any help

sounds like you are missing the tensioner pulley. (round pulley with triangular hub).
Check in the cover, check on the floor, as they are spring loaded they can get thrown quite some distance. Worst case order C3195-40039 (Tensioner assembly) which will include that pulley.
