hi

please say me what is All cases should be considered for upgrading a storage system ?

please guide me step-by-step.

It's still an unspecific question.

But here is an example:

For capacity upgrades just plug in the new disks one by one. On an EVA group them and they are ready to use. On an MSA you can extend or create a new vdisk.

What to buy a data storage device should be considered?

For example you should consider the performance, how many hosts will access the array, the capacity, the connection type, etc...

Have a look at P9000, 3par, p6000 and p2000 for direct attached storage, P2000 and P4000 for NAS.
