L2000 pa-risc vs BL60p itanium blades

Hi we are currently running informix databases on 12 hp9000 L2000 quad 440mhz cpu servers with external nas storage.

As we are moving to a new dc we need to reduce the floorspace we use while upgrading the servers cheaply at the same time.

I'm looking at the BL60p as a possible solution, but have no idea on how it will compare to our current servers performance wise.

Also wonder if any in house applications may need recoding with the change from pa-risc to itanium.

Cheers

George
