Disaster recovery

My production server is an rp7420 running HPUX 11.11. At our remote site we have an rp4440, also running HPUX11.11, that we want to use as our DR server.

Can I use an IGNITE backup taken on the rp7420 to restore onto the rp4440?

If not, what method(s) can we use to build our production O/S on the DR box?

Re: Disaster recovery

With a well patched source server and a current ignite version this should work.
Use the "install to different hardware" option and test it.

Hope this helps!
