Script not generated for oracle 12.1 i using LR

I am using LR9.1 and was trying to record Oracle12.1 i application using multi-protocols (Web(HTTP/HTML& Oracle NCA). Script is not generated once the recording is stopped. Can any one suggest if any patch needs to be installed for recording Oracle12.1i

Re: Script not generated for oracle 12.1 i using LR

Have you tried File-->Protocol Advisor-->Analyze Application in VuGen to determine if Web/OraNCA is the correct protocol to use?

Also, the LR 9.1 support matrix only shows support up to 11i (11.0 X to 11.5 X)

Re: Script not generated for oracle 12.1 i using LR

HI Allan,
Thanks a lot for you reply.
These are my server version details.
Oracle Application server- 12.1.1
Oracle Forms Version- 10.1.2.3.0
Data base Version- 10g.
I was able to record the application, Oracle NCA functions are also recorde. I had correlated ICX_TICKET & JServSessionIdroot. But I am facing the below error message.
Action.c(258): Notify: Parameter Substitution: parameter "icxticket" = "EBbMFNZUJr3-mkrhZcGoKg.."
Action.c(258): Notify: Parameter Substitution: parameter "NCAJServSessionId" = "/forms/lservlet;jsessionid=4b674cf259c74e3628c0b461fd177196d71158797f69ba8296819e96e837ef4d.e3iRahqSb3mKe3aMc3qNc3qKai0"
Action.c(258): Warning: ifError expired (5) during NCA handshake,
Action.c(258): Warning: ifError expired (5)
Action.c(258): Error: nca_connect_server: cannot communicate with host l1586.kpnnl.local on port 8011

To my knowledge there was no handshake happening between client & server.

Can you please guide on this if this is caused due to compatability issue with LR9.1

Re: Script not generated for oracle 12.1 i using LR

Is there any solution to this? I am receiving the same "cannot connect to host" error message. icx_ticket is correlated, and there's a web_reg_save_param statement for NCAJServSessionId that was automatically generated (I had to manually add one for icx_ticket), but there seems to be nowhere to place that parameter, specifically in the nca_connect_server statement.

Re: Script not generated for oracle 12.1 i using LR

I am facing the same issue. I have tried manual and auto correlation with LR 11.5 and Oracle web protocol

If we have auto correlation capability, we should not have to do manual correlation especially in Oracle where there is lot of dynamic data.

I get this error

web_submit_data("auth_2") highest severity level was "ERROR", 136933 body bytes, 5795 header bytes, 36 chunking overhead bytes [MsgId: MMSG-26387]
Ending action Action.

Appreciate any help on this
