Go to your default.cfg file inside your script folder and open it with notepad. Go to the [NCA_GENERAL] section and add the line NcaTimerWaitMode=3. Save this file and try replaying the script. If it still fails, try changing the value to 2,1 and 0 also and replay the script after each change and see if it helps.

Thanks

Re: Loadrunner 9.10 error - ORACLE NCA - Oracle forms RMS

I found that adding Think Time of 5s to just after nca_connect_server and then after User and Password before clicking the login button allows the connection to the form.

That doesn't solve my issue, what are you network-port mapping settings.

Currently we are not mapping any network ports for this app.

Re: Loadrunner 9.10 error - ORACLE NCA - Oracle forms RMS

I am recoring Oracle R12 apps using LR 8.1, and getting same error message as above.

Have correlated session id seperately.

Is it possible you can send me text of your working script.

Thanks,

Are you using SSL? If yes, please set the SSL version explicitly as the first line with web_set_sockets_option("SSL_VERSION", "3" (applicable value)"

Re: Loadrunner 9.10 error - ORACLE NCA - Oracle forms RMS

Might want to try and increase your timeouts.

In Runtime settings, Oracle NAC, Pragma Mode, Max retries up this to like 60 and up Retry interval to 1000 this will wait one minute now instead of the .5 seconds.

You can also try to connect to forms directly.

For R12 try http://host:port/forms/frmservlet?play=&record=names

LR 11 ifError expired

  1. We are running a load test who via oracle NCA and does a single sign on to BOE system(http, oracle 11G servers).

However when it reaches load of about 180 users get ifError timeout for the rest of the user who is trying to login via NCA.

I tried to test it with different run time settings

  1. Enabled heart beat – 120 sec
  2. Pragma Mode, max retried -80 and retry interval -1000
  3. NCATimerWaitMode=0,1,2

None of the case I could get more than 180 users.

Could you please advise if any other LR setting which is may be the cause for ifError @NCA login?
