Fileset installation using swinstall

How do I install fileset by fileset of a product in different locations?

Say, a product has 5 filesets, How can I install all these filesets in different locations using UI?
I tried this ...
But installation using UI takes only one path. Whichever is specified first (during first fileset install). If I change the path in first fileset installation to /abc (default path being / as mentioned in psf file), all the filesets will be installed in this particular path(/abc) itself.

Could you suggest me on this to install all the filesets in different locations ?

Any reason you want to do this? If they are in one product, they really should be together. (Otherwise they will get lonely. :-)

You can either use alternate root or use the locatable option.
# swinstall -s $PWD/foo.depot \* @ /absolute-path-altroot

See these links for the ,l=path:

So if you have 5 filesets you would need to use:
# swinstall -s $PWD/foo.depot prod.fs1,l=path1 prod.fs2,l=path2 ...

Hi Dennis,

I wanted to install using GUI....
I tried very much, but I was not able to install filesets in different locations.
SD will install it in only one path. I mean the first path....
Do I have to enable or disable any particular options??

You can't.

From the command line?

>Do I have to enable or disable any particular options?

The product can be packaged to disallow use of l=. That was the old default. Check with:
swlist -l fileset -a is_locatable -s $PWD/foo.depot

(It seems this may be a property of the SD product and not the fileset?)

If you want to disallow it, you add to your product psf:
is_locatable false
