DVD burning after creation of ISO-Image

I need some help regarding burning of DVD.Using ISO-Image.
I have burned ISO image using
mkisofs -l -L -R -N -D -V Image-name -o DVD on Solaris box.
Then i have mounted on HP-UX systen using options
mount -o -rr,rw,cdcase
Installed patches are

PHKL_32035 Kernel patch
PHCO_25841 1.0 Add Rock Ridge extension to mount_cdfs(1M)
PHKL_26269 1.0 Rock Ridge extension for ISO-9660
PHKL_28025 1.0 Rock Ridge extension for ISO-9660
But still its truncating only 8 characters. Not showing the full name of files.Whats missing in my steps.

Re: DVD burning after creation of ISO-Image

Hello, Try using pfs_mount.

nohup pfs_mountd &
nohup pfsd &
pfs_mount -o xlat=unix /dev/dsk/cd_device /cdrom

Re: DVD burning after creation of ISO-Image

Hi,

patches are looking good.
pfs_mount can let your system hang, so I would only use it as a last option.

Do you really have a '-' before rr?
I think that's wrong.
Also I would use ro (read-only) instead of rw.

My mount command is:
/sbin/mount -F cdfs -o rr,ro,cdcase /dev/dsk/c0t0d0 /cdrom
Well I think you don't need the -F option, but I don't use '-rr'.

The real issue usutally is that the DVD burners that HP supplies will only use RW+ media.

That is what got me last time I did this.
