Can I re-apply a QPACK a second time, but use the create depot option?

I am new to patching and used SAM to install the Quality Pack. But did not first run the create depot script, to install the extra patches along with the BUNDLE.

My scenario.
The Quality Pack is installed. But need to install the extra patches now.

Q: After now running the create depot script, can I execute the swinstall command to get these extra patches in. I assume this means re-applying the QPACK. But surely the Patch management software should just skip those already installed.

Hope someone can put me at ease and help me in my mistake.

Thanks

Exactly, it will skip them.

Hi,

You can do this. Not an issue at all, if the patches already installed or there is a newer version installed, it will skip the re-installation, except you change the option to force re-installation.

Shalom,

Yes.

Just don't use the -x reinstall=true option, you can badly damage your system.
