HP OVPI 5.41 Interface utilization reports

Hi All,

I just wonder what is the unit of data that OVPI shows in Near Real TIme Interface Utilization report...

for example: "Avg In", "Avg Out"

below is the example of data from report generated in CSV format:

Table Key Avg In Utilization (F) Avg Out Utilization (F) Avg Utilization (H) UtilThreshold Serial0/1/0 0.36 0.62   90 Serial0/1/0 0.41 0.43   90

Can anyone help me to identify

1)Unit of data

2)meaning of (F)

3) why is "Avg Utilization column(H)" empty.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Regards,

why is "Avg Utilization column(H)" empty. >>

The interface is Full Duplex hence the values related to the Full Duplex are reflecting and empty value is showing for the Half Duplex Metric..

Re: HP OVPI 5.41 Interface utilization reports

Average utilization is a percentage of the theoretical max utililization - octets/speed*time.

"F" and "H" refer to whether the interface is full or half duplex.
