ODMA Integration - pdf

Some of our users have a requirement to save pdf files from the internet as part of their work and want to know if there is an option to save directly into TRIM rather than to a workgroup drive and then sent to TRIM. Any thoughts?

Re: ODMA Integration - pdf

There is no ODMA type integration for Adobe reader. The only option I know is to save to My Documents before draging/dropping to TRIM Client or alternatively in a one step operation save to a directory which is configured to send to TRIM using the Queue Processor.

Re: ODMA Integration - pdf

This functionality is available in TRIM Explorer.  TRIM Explorer presents itself as an option in the Save As dialog box and when you save a pdf (or any file for that matter) into TRIM Explorer it will bring up the create new record window.  Have been testing this out lately, very nifty for getting files into TRIM.

It's not a feature in TRIM, it's a 3rd party add-in.
