The nVidia nForce 630i chipset seems to work on laptops with the GeForce Go 7150 graphics, per Cheryl who is the expert in this.

The hardware ID is a
HDAUDIO\FUNC_02&VEN_14F1&DEV_5045&SUBSYS_103C30CF
To be honest, it's not all that important, it's more of a last straw. I would entertain suggestions however. Thank you very much for your excellent assistance getting me this far.

Download, and unzip the modem driver file:
sp35335.exe
Under the section of the WinXP\SprtHD5m.inf file, I added the following hardware id: ExcludeFromSelect= HDAUDIO\FUNC_02&VEN_14F1&DEV_5045&SUBSYS_103C30CF
AND under the section of the WinXP\SprtHD5m.inf file, I added the following hardware id:
%HSFModem% = ModemX, HDAUDIO\FUNC_02&VEN_14F1&DEV_5045&SUBSYS_103C30CF
After editing the inf file, go through the same "upgrade driver" process, be sure you point to the correct directory manually if you have to. This should solve the remaining "unknown device" issue.
You can edit the .inf file using notepad.

The Nvidia Chipset, install and reboot before other drivers:

Drivers from DV9000z cto series should work on your model for missing drivers.
For audio, you need MS UAA,with a reboot before Conexant Audio and Modem drivers.HP Quick Launch,Ricoh Media Card Reader,AMD Update, etc are all here.(Do not use a bios, chipset or graphics)

I downgraded them from Vista Home x84 to Windows Professional SP3 x84...and wow what an idea! hard to find WinXP Drivers.
I did some google search and wow! like everyone who bought the laptop downgraded to XP and had trouble finding drivers!!
I got it all sorted out, made up a package with all the drivers, instructions etc for any other poor soul out there ripping their hair out in agony
It would be to big to attach, so i will zip and upload to a file host

I cannot find some drivers after downgrading to XP.
Model: HP Pavilion dv9000
Service Tag: dv9660es
p/n: GZ953EA#ABE
s/n: CNF74668BT
I installed chipset nVidia nForce 630a, but Ethernet driver was not installed. Besides, audio driver was successfully installed, but it doesn't work.
Any idea, please?
