Re: XP Audio Driver for Altec Lansing Speaker

You have Conexant HD-Audio SmartAudio 221 which provides sound to the Altec Lansing Speakers.

UAA(required with a reboot before Audio):

Conexant 221:

Unzip the driver, run installer_it will likely error.Do a force install on the Audio on HD Bus,directing to the folder.Choose the "inf".

Re: XP Audio Driver for Altec Lansing Speaker

I have a dv2125nr which I just reinstalled with Windows xp x64 and I'm having the same problems getting drivers for conexant and the altec lansing speakers. I have downloaded the UAA successfully but the audio drivers listed in this forum don't have a 64 bit .inf file although there is the 64 bit setup (which I tried with no success.).

please help. I've looked all over the net for the 64 bit drivers with no luck.

Re: XP Audio Driver for Altec Lansing Speaker

For the dv2125, try this:

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp34001-34500/sp34386.exe

Both these links return as dead links.
Are there some fresher ones somewhere?
Thanks!
