Turnaround time for repair

What is the typical turnaround time for repair from the day it is sent out through FedEx?

Re: Turnaround time for repair

It depends on the problem. I noticed your prior post. I would think 2-3 weeks. In some cases HP has returned the laptop very fast within a few days from receipt. Others it has taken up to 5-6 weeks. I would call them within a few days and try to obtain a RMA status. At least you will keep them moving along on it. IF you get the runaround, ask for a supervisor.

Re: Turnaround time for repair

I had sent in my laptop for service last week to repair the fan. I sent it off on Wednesday and got the laptop back on Friday the same week. So it took total three days. That is the good news. But they lost a screw cover on the LCD. HP would not send me the part without sending this unit back to service (ridiculous!!).
