Is the HP Pavillion DV9000 Motherboard Recall still in effect?

Our DV9000 is doing the same as hundreds of other's postings here. At a push of power button it begins starting up for 1 second and then shuts down. Is there any chance of a recall fix or do we just toss this $800 unit out. We barely used this machine more than once or twice a week. A little over 2 years old. Looks like the day it came out of the box. Very disappointed. If Hp doesnt step up and do the honorable thing with this, we're through with Hp. ( and will pass the word on to all we know )

If this model was part of the recall, I believe NVIDIA has closed the settlement:

Trying to see if the recall is still in effect for the DV6, DV9700 and the TX2-11012nr. Have all three of these computers and all have the mobo issue with continous rebooting. Tried the site indicated in the forum and called the phone number(disconnected).
