Upgrade display

[ Edited ]

I have a Omnibook 4150b and my display can only handle resolution of 1024x768 max. Is there anyway I can upgrade the display or driver to support higer resolution?

Re: Upgrade display

LCD screens typically have a resolution where they look best. Anything higher or lower results in poor picture quality. Others, if the resolution is below the preferred setting, it will make the screen smaller to make it look good. If it is higher, some of the screen will not be shown until you move the mouse to the area off the screen and then it will scroll.

The video chipset can handle higher resolution with an external monitor.
