USB Problem

For starters im a dummy...little pc knowledge...smiles. Im need yo find a USB driver for my evo1020v, im using window xp. In the comppaq support center i dont known which is the usb driver? i think its listed in another category..please help me. Also I have a pcmcia network work that frezees and locks it up, its a dlink Airplus DWL-650+. Would really appreciate any help guys...if your in OZ ill buy you a beer! cheers

About USB
XP has native usb drivers, but update to ServicePack 2 from Microsoft.

About WLAN
Uninstall WLAN drivers etc.

Update to SP2 for XP if you havent done that all ready.

Install System Enhancements Disk for Microsoft Windows XP from HP(Compaq)

Install WLAN drivers etc and after that put the card into the slot.

USB is determined by the version like 1.0 or 2.0.
XP supports them both. No need for any drivers for XP but some vendors like VIA can update their chips by drivers. You have to access the venders site for the uppgrades.
