Omnibook 6000 and unable to enter bios

[ Edited ]

I have an Omnibook 6000 just pulled out of storage, and am having a couple of problems.

First is that I am unable to enter bios (F2), diags (f10), or change the boot order (ESC) when the bios screen pops up. Almost as if the
keyboard isn't responding.

The second problem is that the screen goes blank right after the bios screen. So I can't really tell if I have entered bios or not. I have hooked up to an external monitor with the same results, and done Fn-F5 with no joy.

Everything else seems to work ok at this time.

Ideas? Thanks.
