OB 6000 w/ w98SE -USB 2.0 flash drive doesn't work in USB slot

Tried to run a USB 2.0 flash drive in the USB slot of the OB6000 and nothing happened. Do I have to get a driver for the USB slot.  Operating on w98SE system. This is the first time I tried to use the flash drive in this computer and it doesn't work.  The flash drive works fine in my other computer.

Most Flash drive require a driver to work in a Win 98SE system. The later SanDisk won't work in a USB win98se system. You have to read the fine print to find that out. I think it is on there site. I think I did a site search to find the answer on the SanDisk.  I am talking about a specific driver to each Flash drive type. I ran into the same problem a couple of years back.

I had an old Compaq Presario running 98SE. It needed drivers installed to run a 256 MB USB drive. I don't know of any multi-GB drives that have drivers for Win98.
