Hello All! This is my first post here, but this forum has helped me out quite a few times in the past by reading solutions to similar issues that others have posted.
I am currently trying to confirgure a Probook 6560b with Windows XP Pro SP3. I am struggling with getting compatible drivers, specifically for Graphics. I have tried building the laptop manually and by RIS image with the same results.
I have searched this issue and found 1 post, from which the solution didnt work for me. (http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-HP-ProBook-C
I ran the update driver wizard for the Graphics adapter, with the driver CD inserted. It did find a driver that it thinks is suitable, it installed it and then threw an error 'Cannot Start This Hardware' There was a problem installing this hardware - Intel(R) HD Graphics Family.
The laptop SN is: 4CZ125195P
The Hardware ID's that I am missing drivers for are:
Display - PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0116&SUBSYS_1619103C&REV_09
Audio - HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8086&DEV_2805&SUBSYS_80860101&
HP Integrated Module - USB\Vid_03f0&Pid_231d&Rev_0306
Unknown - ACPI\HPQ0004
Unknown - ACPI\IFX0102
So far I have tried installing the Chipset Drivers, TPM driver and Intel management engine and components drivers BEFORE installing anything else and got the same error noted above.
Am I doing something glaringly obvious wrong here? I downgrade probooks almost daily and have had minor issues with Probook 4510/20's but always found a workaround or suitable driver, but the 6560b just seems to have me headlocked at the moment.
Anyone suggestions greatly appreciated!
