Notebook won't start

Hi

my notebook is HP Compaq NC6000.

When press the buttom power, the cpu fan starting quicly and led, caps lock, num lock, scroll lock, remains turn off, and the Lcd remains black.
After 10 second the notebook is power off.

What could be the problem?

1.Check if newer versions are available for the BIOS and Graphics driver and install them.

2. Install the softpaq - Essential System Updates for the OS, which would be available on the Drivers Download page.

3. Connect to the Windows update site and install the latest service pack, if any and any available hotifixes.

Hi all

I found other information on the web.
It seems to be a chip MAX1987.

Must desolder to the motherboard
and replace it.

Do you have information in this problem?
