i bought hp probook 4540s laptop last week monday(10jun13) with windows 8 loaded.
i have the recovery partition in my laptop. but i can not view any files in that partiton. but this valid and it shows the disk is having around 12GB of data in it.
for backuping the recovery in disk it needs the recovery manager. but in my pc this is not present.
will you please help me to backup my recovery ?
if this not possible means, please tell me how can i get the recovery backup from HP ?

For my Windows 8 desktop, after N weeks went by, the Support Assistant finally told me how to create recovery disks.
Perhaps it's the same way for you laptop?

Or from the Windows 8 Search on Apps, you can look for "recovery" and find Recovery Media Creation or Recovery Manager.

one more clarification:
when i bought the laptop from store, i have asked to create secondary partition for my personal use. because at any cause, "c" partition is get corrupted, then i can't get my datas if i use the "c" partition for my personal use, thats y i have asked them to create.
is this any thing regarding to lost the recovery partition if we created the secondary partitoin.
but in my laptop the recovery partition having the data around 12 GB. but i could not seen those things in that partition.
will u please help me for this problem. i want to take the recovery backup to the media.
