Elitebook dead pixel policy

I recently got my 8760w back from HP after it having problems with the fan.   Unfortunately now it has what I think is a dead pixel.   I'm wondering what HP's dead pixel policy is for Elitebooks.  I could only find HP's policy for monitors, but it explicitly says it doesn't apply to laptops.

The pixel appears black/gray on any background colour, so I assue it is a completely dead pixel.  It could also be some dirt in the display.  It's definately not something on the surface of the display.   It's quite annoying.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Timp74, you can find HP's LCD Replacement Policy for notebooks here:

About LCD Panel Defects and Terminology for HP Pavilion or Compaq Presario Notebook PCs

Re: Elitebook dead pixel policy

Makes sense, the more expensive display, the more allowed defects... way to go HP.....
